Week 4:
Study Trip to Japan 
In Ikeda, we had a consultation with our advisor which was Miss Anis, she had suggested our group to explore into Japanese Cosmetics/Makeup, therefore after our visit to Cup Noodles everyone was dismissed and had to start our research studies.

Week 4:
Study Trip to Japan 
In Kyoto, our plan was to visit the Geisha Place in Higashiyama Ward District,  unfortunately it was too late, especially during a rainy weather. Therefore, we decided to move on to our next location which was the Kimono Rental place in Gion. This was to experience and talk to the locals, to deepen our understanding of their culture.

Notes:
We learnt a lot during this time, Amirah and I decided not to rent the kimono as we wanted to talk to the locals and take photographs of Sammi, Joey and Ameera. They had these interesting shoes called Geta, which are like wooden sandals that can be seen above.

Week 4:
Study Trip to Japan 
In Osaka, we visited the House and Living Museum in Tenjimbashi and found many artefacts:

 


 

 
Notes:
Amirah and I had chosen for the special exhibition and we were lucky to be able to observe many types of bento/accessories boxes.

Week 5:
Delegations After Japan Trip:

1. Moodboard on Japanese design/pattern or Geisha kimonos - ( Amirah ) 
2. List down type of geisha makeup (shades of color) (Joey) 
3. Compilation of box compartment layouts & box outline template - (Adrianna) 
4. Research pictures of proof in Japan. - ( Amirah ) 
5. Data collection of Geisha or Japanese product design (Everyone list down) 
6. Google form online Survey Collection on Geisha Culture : The Surprise box Inspired by Geisha Makeup - ( Ameera ) 
7. Full Compilation of data in Google docs - ( everyone ) 
8. Summarised compilation of data in Google slides (Sammi) 
9. Final video presentation slide - ( Everyone )
