Instructions: Animated Infographic Pasta Grannies

Use the assets from Project 1 Instructable Infographic poster into a 60-second motion graphic. Once again, capture the aesthetics and narrative of the poster with movements, SFX, and music.

Requirement:

Max 60  seconds infographic video 720p: 1280x720 pixels (H26/mp4) published on YouTube (set to Unlisted)

Contents: Tiramisu Recipe from Treviso (Italy) by Mara

Ingredients: 

1. Ladyfingers 

2. Coffee 

3. Cocoa powder 

4. Eggs 

5. Salt  6. Mascarpone Instructions:

1. Separate the 6 eggs into whites and yolks (separate bowls). 

2. Add a pinch of salt to the egg whites. 

3. Whisk until stiff peaks form. 

4. Place the whipped egg whites in the fridge to chill. 

5. In the yolk bowl, gradually mix in the mascarpone into the yolk mix and 2 tablespoon of liquor. 6. Assemble the white and egg yolk mix into one bowl.

7. Mix them together until smooth 

8. Take a pan and spread a layer of the combined mixture on the bottom. 

9. Arrange the ladyfingers biscuits on top of the mixture.  10. Spread coffee over the ladyfingers to soak them. 

11. Repeat the layering process, alternating between the egg mixture and ladyfingers soaked in coffee until all ingredients are used.

I had chosen 4 main colours for my infographic from the previous outcome and shortlisted to maintain the same design style in my animation.

This was also from the previous task, I had 4 options for a graphical/chocolaty feel typeface. Initially, I wanted to go for the first option as it gave out a melt-like flow that represents chocolate but after I pasted it on my infographic it did not feel the Italian aesthetic. Therefore, I went with the second one which gave me a structural like (since Italy has a very unique building structure), referring to my research from my Project 1 Blog.

The paragraph needs a readable and clear font therefore I used Helvetica.
